KYC requirements are set by payment providers and can depend on the user's identity, region, amount, asset, payment method, and previous activity.
Reusable KYC lets a signed-in user complete verification through Coindisco's Sumsub flow and reuse that completed verification with supported providers.
A provider is shown as Reusable KYC only when:
the user's Coindisco KYC is completed;
KYC sharing is enabled and ready for that provider;
the required provider integration is configured.
When the user continues with an eligible offer, Coindisco can pass a KYC sharing token or use the provider's supported identity-import flow.
Reusable KYC reduces repeated checks but does not guarantee that a provider will never request more information. The provider remains responsible for its final compliance decision.
Simplified KYC identifies combinations for which a provider may require fewer verification steps. Eligibility is evaluated using the provider, asset, payment method, region, and a maximum USD-equivalent amount.
Used before means that the user has completed a previous transaction with the provider. It is a separate signal from Reusable KYC and Simplified KYC.
When supported by the client, a Smart KYC filter can include offers that meet at least one of these conditions:
reusable Coindisco KYC is ready;
the provider was used before;
the quote qualifies for simplified KYC.
