# What is an offer?

A Coindisco offer combines a provider quote with normalized pricing and contextual information that helps the user choose an appropriate checkout.

Every offer carries the same four things, each covered by its own page in this section: a comparable price expressed as its [True Fee](/coindisco/what-makes-coindisco-different/true-fee.md), a [ranking and label](/coindisco/understanding-offers/labels-and-ranking.md) explaining why it appears where it does, the [verification](/coindisco/understanding-offers/kyc-and-reusable-kyc.md) the provider will ask for, and any [promotion](/coindisco/understanding-offers/provider-promotions.md) applied to it. [How offers are compared](/coindisco/understanding-offers/how-offers-are-compared.md) describes how they are assembled into a single list.

An offer is only valid for the inputs used to request it. Changing the amount, region, payment method, asset, network, or transaction direction requires a new search.
